Throughout the Holidays and New Year, may you be blessed in knowing that God created you as an individual of great value. His love for you is expressed through promises like these – "I have engraved you on the palms of my Hands"; you are "the apple of my eye"; Cornerstone's favorite passage--

Psalm 139: "Lord, you know everything about me. You know when I sit or stand. When far away, you know my every thought. You clear the path ahead of me. You tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am. You know what I am going to say. You know this even before I say it! You go in front of me. And you also follow me. You put your hand of blessing on my head. This is too wonderful to believe! You made all the parts of my body. You put them together in my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully! It is amazing to think about! Your workmanship is wonderful! You were there while I was being made. You saw me before I was born. You planned each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book! How precious this is, Lord! How great to know you think about me all the time! I can't even count how many times your thoughts turn toward me. And when I wake in the morning, you are still thinking of me!"

In a desire to follow God’s lead, Cornerstone's core values include regarding those with whom we associate as "infinitely significant". Living this out practically is a bit challenging, but thankfully, God’s opinion of your incredible worth is consistently the same regardless of human relationships.

At Christmas, God’s pursuit of a personal relationship with us changed forever. Through the gift of God’s son Jesus, God came to live with us. When we trust in Jesus and let Him put our lives together, we become "God’s masterpieces, created in Christ Jesus."
